A Heart for Children

Painting Competition by Enghouse Fulfills Dreams.

Leipzig, March 30, 16 – Enghouse Interactive is not only one of the world's leading companies of its branch but shows social responsibility as well. The developer and supplier of customer interactive solutions initiated a painting competition and by means of the donations resulting from this it is now possible to fulfill childrens heart's desires.

Last fall Enghouse Interactive advertised a painting competition for children under the slogan "Communication of the Future". The best pictures were collected in a year 2016 calendar being given as a present by Enghouse for a voluntary donation. Partner, customers and staff members supported this campaign and donated eagerly for the benefit of Herzenswünsche e.V. Since 1992 this charitable, non-profit registered society cares about fulfilling long-awaited desires of seriously ill children and teenagers.

A dream came true for Magdalena. The seven-year-old girl has been paralyzed since her birth and is entirely confined to an electrical wheelchair. Therefore there has been no way to travel by plane for example or to take the subway in a big city. Even if little Magdalena had the wish to do these things. All the more as she had presented a paper about the Berlin Wall at school and she wanted to see the original.

With the help of the Enghouse campaign Magdalena's wish became true. The seven-year-old girl had the chance to travel by plane for the first time, to enjoy a private Berlin sightseeing in a wheelchair-accessible bus with her parents and to explore the capital by subway.

"We are very delighted if we can give children a pleasure whose life is not only sunshine and roses", says Astrid Pocklington, marketing manager of Enghouse Interactive.

For Guido Otterbein, executive partner of Enghouse partner SEC-COM, it was great need to support the Enghouse donation campaign and the registered society Herzenswünsche e.V. "In our fast-moving time we have particularly to pay attention to the ones who are not on the sunny side of life", says Otterbein.

The eighteen-year-old Victoria has been thrilled as well. At Easter she will travel to Paris and will meet Arielle the Mermaid at Disneyland. Thanks to the Enghouse donation campaign this long-desired wish also came true.

"Initiating such campaigns companies like Enghouse Interactive show social commitment and a significant sense of responsibility", says Gundula Schmid from Herzenswünsche e.V. "We are sincerely grateful for this support."
