Enghouse Interactive arrives in Switzerland


The company wants to conquer the market with individual solutions for any requirements.

 

Leipzig, 29th January 2016 – With thousands of customers and over 750 employees at 18 international locations, Enghouse Interactive is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of customer interaction solutions worldwide. On the back of its successful growth in Germany and Austria in the last few years, the company is now expanding to Switzerland.

„We are going to position ourselves in the market", says Christoph Kamber, the Country Manager for Enghouse AG for Switzerland since the beginning of the year. The 53-year old knows the industry in the neighbouring country like the back of his hand. Among other things, Kamber was already the Swiss representative for IT Sonix AG, which was acquired two years ago by Enghouse.

Enghouse plans to establish the Swiss market for all the solutions from the German companies acquired within the last two and a half years, namely, IT Sonix, Andtek and Voxtron. In recent months, the key products have been merged together successfully. This integration allows Enghouse to offer an unequalled and diverse portfolio for even the most unusual customer requirements.
The focus is on the next release of the omni-channel software for customer interaction „Voxtron Communication Center" (VCC), which will be presented at the CCW for the first time in 2016. Integrated into this leading solution is, for example, IT Sonix's real-time voice analysis software „ELSBETH VocalCoach" (EVC). This instantly monitors the agent's calls, corrects if necessary and can significantly improve customer service.

Kamber, a Swiss native, sees great potential in Lync's successor „Skype for Business" (SFB). „Lync and SFB are a much more widespread in Switzerland than in Germany", says Kamber. By integrating Lync and SFB into its own customer interaction solutions, Enghouse Interactive provides comprehensive omni-channel communication via different channels (apps, email, chat, Internet, social media, document sharing, video etc.).
Another goal is to build a qualified partner network in order to position itself as a strong and stable presence in the Swiss market.
